On Mock the Week last night, someone, I think it was the Scottish one, said, 'they say there's only a 50 million to one chance of it all going wrong. I think if there's any chance at all, they shouldn't do it.'

Don't know that one; but I recall a SF short story where scientists create a minute black home, which then falls to and through the centre of the Earth, picking up atoms as it oscillates across the planet's interior...

Chill out everyone. I don't think we have anything to worry about and I'll be very surprised if any dark matter drops out the end.
