Organisers of the Co-op's funeral service have asked for no Flowers. Donations may be made to a number of uncharitable funds instead.

Sacky,

I switched to the Co-op bank last year. I did so because they claimed that they were the most ethical bank in the UK.

Now this.

Any suggestions on who I should switch to?

'Er indoors wants a bank with a local branch. In rural Scotland that is not as easy as it sounds...

It sadly reminds me of the 'alternative' health nuts who swear that most of the big drug companies are 'only in it for the money'. The fact is that those same big companies own the herbal industry as well, and make a far higher percentage profit on those.
