CCTV is so last year

Knightscope offers the only security solution capable of analyzing historical crime data, real-time on-site data, and social media feeds to generate truly valuable crime predictions. Our ADMs are an eye-catching physical presence that serve as front line guardians - autonomously protecting lives and property with an advanced array of sensor technologies.

The technologies are not new, but as yet the possibilities are barely off the ground. This is just an example.

  2. Sackers - I wonder how keen the developers are, or is it merely an interesting job?

  6. Fascinating idea - but I think at the wrong scale. I think the job they are aiming this to do would be better addressed by a distributed swarm of small-scale sensor-bots (some fixed, some mobile) that can cover an area with heat/hearing/chemical/vision sensors and co-ordinate their results.

Unfortunately, because of a plague of spam comments, you need to be a "registered user", otherwise your observations will be buried in a torrent of multilingual nonsense. Please do comment!

Say what you please, so long as it's phrased politely and is not libellous or legally proscribed. Fact, reason and wit are keenly welcomed.
