U.S. Bankruptcy Map

  1. That map is possibly totally misleading.

Let's assume there was only one bankruptcy in Nevada and this year there are two. That gets it into the dark grey area.

In Texas, there may have been a hundred thousand bankruptcies last year, but as this year it's only gone up to 110,000 it gets into the pale grey area.

But objectively, which is worse, two bankruptcies per state or 110,000?

  2. Fair point, Mark It doesn't give numbers of filings, or total amounts of money lost. But it's a straw in the wind.
