Poor sound for some reason, need to turn up the volume. The video clip of them playing has Jeremy Spencer playing the melody line; amusing because he wasn't on the record and that is not his style of playing (he was an excellent slide guitar player as you can hear on Oh Well) And later in the clip Green said he played bass on the record alongside John McVie, there were two bass lines in other words.

I still have the single here somewhere. I didn't include it because it is so well known, I wanted to highlight Green's mellifluous tone although at times it is hard to tell which is Green and which is Kirwan :)

Plenty more music, the well never runs dry. There are some clips of Bob Dylan in Hyde Park last week (12th July) from people with camera phones. He restyles and reinvents his back catalogue like nobody else. 'Girl From the North Country' is recognisable as the same song but the new arrangement and style is wonderful, better than the original!Sackersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17284329249862764601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5524682876220396502.post-77680847214968288782019-07-19T18:56:52.736+01:002019-07-19T18:56:52.736+01:00I think that my favourite pieces of theirs is eith...I think that my favourite pieces of theirs is either 'Albatross', or 'Oh Well'.Paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07952088638231881617noreply@blogger.com
