It is a charismatic, populist group, that may well have been forgotten by the time of the elections. It has attracted support (in surveys, very different from votes) but it has 5 MEP’s, whereas UKIP has 25, and no one expects UKIP to form the next government. Iglesias himself has recognised openly that they don’t have anything like enough candidates or organisation to contest the general election. And I am sure the people who make a living from second-guessing these things are well aware of it.<br /><br />Iglesias doesn’t bother me.
